Types of Tint

Our high quality film comes with a lifetime warranty against any fading and will not turn that odd "purple" color you see on some tints. There are several shades available to choose from, and you should use caution to select a combination that works with your car's factory tint and the aftermarket tint you get.

Upon completion of your tint job, we will give you a tint card that shows the tint number rating of your tint (this can be presented to an officer should he question whether the tint is within guidelines or not). Our professional installers will guide you through the process and advise you of the options (some windows allow darker tints than others).

Clear Bra Film

We can install a clear film protection for the nose of your car to help protect your paint against rocks, bugs, and other mishaps that can mess with the nose of your car. Ask our installers for more details.

Pricing

Prices vary depending upon the car. Some cars have larger windows and varying window configurations. Some have factory tinted rear windows and customers only want to tint the front windows. Needs vary, so prices vary.

We also have several customers that come to us wanting to get package discounts to tint all of their vehicles at once, at an even more affordable price. We also offer fleet discounts for your business.

Questions about Auto Tinting

Troubleshooting Guide

View All
Why does newly tinted glass look hazy?

Installation moisture can temporarily affect appearance while film dries. Follow the aftercare you received; if haze persists or obstructs your view, contact Trim & Tint before driving.

What should I do if tint starts peeling at an edge?

Avoid pulling or trimming it. Note when it started and contact Trim & Tint to arrange an inspection; the cause and remedy cannot be confirmed from appearance alone.

Why has older tint changed color or developed bubbles?

Film or adhesive deterioration may be involved. Let Trim & Tint review the condition and any warranty paperwork before deciding whether replacement is appropriate.

What if my tinted windows are difficult to see through at night?

Do not drive with an obstructed view. Discuss the visibility problem with Trim & Tint; shade, glass, lighting, and film condition need to be considered.

How can I avoid scratching tinted windows when cleaning?

Use a clean, soft cloth and a nonabrasive cleaner suitable for your film. Follow the initial waiting period given by Trim & Tint; avoid blades and gritty cleaning tools.

Service Questions

View All
Do you tint vehicle windows?

Yes. We offer auto window tinting. Tell Trim & Tint which windows you want tinted and whether they already have film so we can discuss the job.

Can I tint only my front side windows?

Yes. We can discuss front-door tinting separately from a full-vehicle installation. The existing rear glass and your desired appearance help guide the choice.

Can window tint reduce glare and improve comfort?

Yes. A suitable film can reduce glare and incoming solar heat. Ask us to compare the available films for your vehicle; darkness alone does not describe every performance feature.
